Saunderson, Committee Administrator <br /> <br />Pursuant to Chapter 25 (Procedure) of the Municipal Code, a motion was brought forward by <br />Councillor Y. Fernandes to discuss Item 1, Councillor S. Marsh to discuss Item 2, and Councillor J. <br />Gazzola to discuss Item 3, listed on the Agenda as Consent items, which were voted on and Carried. <br /> <br />1. INS-17-001 SUMMARY WATER REPORT JANUARY 1 DECEMBER 31, 2016 <br /> <br />The Committee considered Infrastructure Services Department report INS-17-001, dated <br />February 1, 2017 regarding the 2016 City of Kitchener Summary Drinking Water report. Ms. A. <br />Mick responded to questions from the Committee. <br /> <br />On motion by Councillor Y. Fernandes - <br />it was resolved: <br /> <br />That the 2016 City of Kitchener Summary Drinking Water Report be received for <br />information as required by O.Reg. 170/03 Schedule 22 of the Safe Drinking Water Act; <br />and further, <br /> <br />That the City of Kitchener provide a copy of the Summary Drinking Water report to the <br />Township of Woolwich and the City of Waterloo as required by Schedule 22 of O.Reg. <br />170/03, as outlined in Infrastructure Services Department report INS-17-001. <br /> <br />2. INS-17-016 NOISE EXEMPTION REGION OF WATERLOO STAGE 1 <br /> LIGHT RAIL PROJECT <br /> <br />The Committee considered Infrastructure Services Department report INS-17-016, dated <br />February 9, 2017 recommending approval of a noise exemption to the Region of Waterloo for <br />Stage 1 of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project from February 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. <br /> <br />Councillor S. Marsh advised in the past she has had to deal with multiple noise complaints <br />related to construction activities. She indicated in advance of the March 20, 2017 Council <br />meeting, she will work with staff to determine if any further noise mitigation measures could be <br />included as conditions to granting the requested exemption. <br /> <br />On motion by Councillor Y.
