In early 2018 staff initiated the Winter Sidewalk Maintenance Review project. The objective of this review is to identify preferred alternatives to form a recommend winter sidewalk maintenance program, to be implemented in the winter of 2018/2019. The results of this program will provide quantitative and qualitative data, which will help inform recommendations to Council on implementing sidewalk maintenance practices for the 2019/2020 winter season, and beyond. Expectations of Committee On June 21 staff will provide an update to the Environmental Committee on the Winter Sidewalk Maintenance Review project, including a summary of the program being considered for the winter of 2018/2019. Staff is seeking feedback from the Committee on the development of this program as staff prepare for implementation, notably around salt management and collecting data on salt use. 1 - 1 1 - 2 1 - 3 1 - 4 1 - 5 1 - 6 1 - 7 1 - 8 1 - 9 1 - 10 1 - 11 1 - 12 1 - 13 1 - 14 1 - 15 1 - 16 IF1 - 1 IF1 - 2 IF1 - 3 IF1 - 4 Responsibility Councillor Yvonne FernandesErin KellyJohn Jackson, Erin Kelly, Cynthia Gaetani, Tia DriverCouncillor Yvonne Fernandes, Edward Saxon, Jordan Gray, John JacksonCommittee Staff Contact Josh Shea, Natural Area CoordinatorJosh Shea, Natural Area Coordinator1.Nick Gollan, Manager ofStormwater Utility 2.
