Ioannidis- <br />it was resolved: <br />“That an exemption to Chapter 450 (Noise) of the City of Kitchener Municipal Code be <br />granted to Polocorp Inc. for the development of the Barra Condos at 399 Queen Street <br />South and 168-180 Benton Street, on various dates from May 2019 through September <br />2019 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., as outlined in Community Services <br />Department report CSD-19-013.” <br />4.CSD-19-010-ADMINISTRATIVE MONETARY PENALTY SYSTEM (AMPS) -POLICIES <br />The Committee considered CommunityServices Department report CSD-19-010dated April 23, <br />2019 recommending approval of the Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) policies <br />as outlined in the Report. <br />On motion by Councillor B. Ioannidis- <br />it was resolved: <br />“That Council approve the attached policies which support the implementation of the <br />Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) as set out in Community Services <br />Department report CSD-19-010; <br />A.Policy to Prevent Political Interference <br />B.Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct Policy <br />C.Policy Regarding Financial Management and Reporting <br />D.Public Complaints Policy <br />E.Undue Hardship Policy <br />F.Policy for the Appointment of Screening and Hearing Officers” <br />5.DSD-19-093-NAMING OF A PRIVATE STREET –155 WESTWOOD DRIVE, COOK HOMES <br />The Committee consideredDevelopmentServices Department report DSD-19-093dated April <br />15, 2019regarding the proposed naming of a private street ‘Gleason Crescent’ by Cook Homes <br />within a vacant land condominium development located at 155 Westwood Drive. <br />On motion by Councillor B. Ioannidis- <br />it was resolved: <br />“That the City of Kitchener acknowledge that Cook Homes proposes to name a private <br />street ‘Gleason Crescent’ within a vacant land condominium development located at 155 <br />Westwood Drive, as outlined in Development Services Department report DSD-19-093; <br />and further, <br />That the City’s Legal Services be directed to proceed with the required advertising, <br />preparation and registration of the necessary By-law for the naming of the ‘Gleason <br />Crescent’.” <br />6.DSD-19-103-ALL-WAY STOP CONTROL –GLEN ROAD & PLEASANT AVENUE <br />The Committee considered DevelopmentServices Department report DSD-19-103 datedApril <br />17, 2019 recommending approvalof an all-way stop control at the intersection of Glen Road and <br />Pleasant Avenue. <br />On motion by Councillor B. Ioannidis- <br />it was resolved: <br />“That the Uniform Traffic By-law be amended for the installation of an all-way stop control at <br />the intersection of Glen Road and Pleasant Avenue, as outlined in Development Services <br />Department report DSD-19-103.” <br />
