As a public-private partnership, the original agreement with Victus was established <br />to outline responsibilities of both parties including fees, payment schedule, insurance <br />requirements, expectations around renovation approvals, and Ministry of Education approvals. <br />This workresulted in a one-year licenceagreement between the City and Victus, with two(2) <br />additional one(1)year renewals.The licenceagreement commenced on August 2,2016 and <br />expires on August 1, 2019. <br />REPORT: <br />Victusemploysfive (5)administrative/executive staff, six(6)academic teachers, and nine (9) <br />that Victus has built is what attracts students.Registration and grade level offeringshave grown <br />from 48 students in grades 7-12 (2016) to 65 students in grades 5-12 (2019). Enrollment for the <br />2019-2020 school year is expected to be between 65-70 students. <br />Over the past three(3) years, both the City and Victus have benefited from the partnership. <br />Victus has fulfilled their obligations outlined in the licenceagreement and have achieved all of <br />the necessary approvals including approvals from the Ministry of Education. In addition to <br />fulfilling the expected requirements, Victus has also taken steps to establish a working <br />relationship with the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association(KMHA).
