OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF KITCHENER
(Being a by-law to amend By-law 2009-091 regarding
development charges)
WHEREAS By-law 2009-091., respecting the imposition of development
charges, was passed by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener on June 22,
2009;
AND WHEREAS effective June 16, 2010, the Corporation of the City of
Kitchener desires to reduce the parking service component of the development
charge to more appropriately recover the growth-related net capital costs
associated with its parking service;
AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Kitchener deems it
expedient to amend By-law 2009-091 to reduce the parking service development
charge rate;
AND WHEREAS there are no changes proposed to the definitions or other
provisions of By-law 2009-091 and all other aspects of By-law 2009-091 are to
remain the same;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the City of
Kitchener enacts as follows:
By-faw 2009-091 is hereby amended a~ follows:
Schedule "B" to By-faw 2009-091 is hereby deleted in its entirety and
replaced with Schedule "B" attached to this amending By-law.
