SUBJECT: REQUEST TO SELL REFRESHMENTS -CENTRE FOR
COMMUNITY BASED RESEARCH -SEPTEMBER 15, 2010 -
102 KING STREET WEST
RECOMMENDATION:
That the request of the Centre for Community Based Research to sell refreshments at 102 King
Street West on September 15, 2010 be approved, provided the necessary licence, including
Health approval is obtained.
BACKGROUND:
Council Policy requires Council's approval prior to a licence being issued to allow sales of
refreshments on City property.
REPORT:
A request has been received from Norah Love, Event Coordinator requesting permission on
behalf of the Centre for Community Based Research to sell refreshments outside the
Multicultural Centre, 102 King Street West on September 15, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Proceeds raised will be donated to the United Way.
