Korah, P.Eng, Manager of Development WARD(S) INVOLVED: Ward 4 DATE OF REPORT: December 15, 2010 REPORT NO.: INS10-009 SUBJECT: Reports Deferral: INS 10-007 -Homer Watson Pumping Station Tender Award and Project Status Update -Tender # T10-094 INS 10-008 -Homer Watson Pumping Station -Contract Administration and Inspection Services -Consultant Purchase Order Extension RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Infrastructure Services Department reports INS 10-007(Homer Watson Pumping Station Tender Award and Project Status Update -Tender # T10-094 ), and INS 10-008 (Homer Watson Pumping Station -Contract Administration and Inspection Services - Consultant Purchase Order Extension), be deferred to the January 17, 2011 Community and Infrastructure Committee meeting, in order to allow an opportunity for staff to prepare a supplementary report to address all the concerns raised at the December 13, 2010 Community and Infrastructure Committee meeting . REPORT: On December 13, 2010, staff brought forward INS 10-007 report (Homer Watson Pumping Station Tender Award and Project Status Update -Tender # T10-094), and INS 10-008 (Homer Watson Pumping Station -Contract Administration and Inspection Services -Consultant Purchase Order Extension) to Community and Infrastructure Committee meeting for their consideration. During the Committee meeting, several questions and concerns were raised by the committee members with the reports. At this time, staff recommended that these reports be deferred to allow an opportunity for staff to prepare a supplementary report to address all the concerns raised at the December 13, 2010 Community and Infrastructure Committee meeting.
