Trees in containers are utilized due to the ease with which they can be planted. Container trees do not require the extra equipment used to handle and plant wire basket stock. This allows staff to be more productive by increasing the number of trees that can be planted in a comparable time frame. The approximate annual spend based on the previous three (3) years was $45,000. REPORT: The quotation was advertised publicly on the City of Kitchener website. Ten (8) potential bidders were notified of the quotation and fourteen (13) potential bidders downloaded the quotation document.
