SUBJECT: ZONE CHANGE APPLICATION ZC 111091COKISR
CITY- INITIATED "HOUSEKEEPING" AMENDMENTS
TO THE ZONING BY-LAW -
REMOVAL OF ITEMS FROM PROPOSED BY-LAW
RECOMMENDATION:
That further to the Housekeeping changes (ZC 111091COKISR) contained in Report CSD
12-020, representing comprehensive changes to the Zoning By-law 85-1, that items 81 a)
and 87 be removed, and that Map #7 be amended to remove AREA 13, from the
"Proposed By-law", dated February 27, 2012, attached to Report CSD 12-020.
BACKGROUND:

REPORT:
Item 81, subsection a), of the "Proposed By-law", which makes reference to AREA 13 on Map
#7, concerns a portion of land to be rezoned Open Space Land Zone (P-2) to Residential Three
(R-3). This area is to remain P-2 to resolve a concern raised by an adjacent landowner.
Item 87 of the "Proposed By-law" concerns the property known as Forest Glen Plaza and is
addressed as 700 Strasburg Road. There is a Special Regulation Provision on the property
which requires clarification. The item is to be removed at the request of the owner, to provide
an opportunity for further discussion and resolution.
