BACKGROUND: Golf cars are continually replaced on a five (5) year cycle. REPORT: Tenders were advertised publicly in The Record, on the City of Kitchener website and the Internet through the Ontario Public Buyers Electronic Tendering Information System. Documents were downloaded by ten (10) interested parties, and by the closing date of th Thursday March 8, 2012, four (4) tenders had been received. Tenders were reviewed by T. Doering, Supervisor Golf Grounds, who elected to award the project to Skyway Lawn Equipment Limited, Stoney Creek, Ontario. Duke Equipment Ltd.
