REQUEST TO OPERATE HOT DOG CART AT106 STOKE
DRIVE DURING ANNUAL COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE –
MAY 5, 2012
RECOMMENDATION:
That the request of Zbigniew Wilk to operate a hot dog cart at 106 Stoke Drive during the
annual Community Garage Sale on May 5, 2012, be approved, provided the necessary
licence is obtained including Health and Fire approvals.
BACKGROUND:
A request has been received from Zbigniew Wilk for permission to operate a hot dog cart during
the Community Garage Sale held in the area of Stoke Drive. He has received permission from
the homeowner at 106 Stoke Drive to locate his cart on their driveway during the day of the
sale.
REPORT:
This is a residential area and would not normally permit this type of operation, however, Council
has approved similar requests for the past several years. Mr. Wilk has obtained permission
from the homeowner at 106 Stoke Drive to locate his cart on their driveway during the day of the
sale. In the past Licensing has not received any complaints regarding the operation of hot dog
carts during the garage sale.
