OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF KITCHENER
(Being a by-law to amend various Chapters of The City of
Kitchener Municipal Code.)
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend various Chapters of The
City of Kitchener Municipal Code as adopted by By-law 88-100;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the City of
Kitchener enacts as follows:
1. Section 101.1.1 of Chapter 101 is hereby amended by deleting under the heading
"Name of Officer" the name "Carla Ladd" therefor.
2. Section 101.1.1 of Chapter 101 is hereby amended by adding beside the name
"Tim Beckett" under the heading "also holds Statutory Office of the Statutory Office
"Fire Chief" #hereto.
3. Section 101.1.1 of Chapter 101 is hereby amended by adding under the headings"
Name of Officer" and "Title" the following:
"Brandon Sloan Manager, Long Range & Policy Planning
Janine Oosterveld Manager, Site Development & Customer
Service".
4. Chapter 680 is hereby amended by deleting "Supervisor, Site Development"
wherever it occurs and substituting "Manager, Site Development & Customer
Service" therefor.
5. Section 683.2.1 of Chapter 683 is hereby deleted in its entirety and the following is
substituted therefor:
"683.2.1
Save #or those cases in which school board properties are proposed for
development for non-educational purposes, the Manager, Site Development &
Customer Service, the Manager, Development Review or the City's Director,
Planning or in their absence the Manager, Long Range & Policy Planning are
hereby delegated as being the appointed officers of the City to exercise City
Council's powers or authority under section 41 of the Planning Acf, R.S.O. 1990,
c.P.13 to approve plans and drawings, to impose conditions and to require
agreements."
