BACKGROUND: The Petricevic family is planning to host a graduation and birthday party for their children at their th private residence on Saturday June 30. The party will include people and music outside. As such, they are requesting an exemption to Chapter 450 (Noise). REPORT: The applicant advises that they will control the volume and ensure that the music is turned off at 11 PM. In addition, they will ensure that adjacent neighbours are advised in advance of the event. ALIGNMENT WITH CITY OF KITCHENER STRATEGIC PLAN: The aforementioned amendments support the Community Priority of Quality of Life, as contained in the City’s Strategic Plan. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: N/A ì ó ï COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: As this is a private event, there is no large degree of community engagement required.
