Students learn about water conservation at the Festival. Do you know how much water we use each day? Lather Up! Students learn how much wa- ter is used to take a 5 minute shower. Royal Flush shows the volume of water used to flush the toilet each day. The Children's Groundwater Festival has over 50 hands -on activity centres that challenge students to consider the importance of water to them- selves, their families and society. Since 1996, more than 8,000 volunteers have helped to educate over 64,000 students. If you are interested in education and the environ- ment, consider volunteering for a day. The Festival offers hands -on training, as well as a t- shirt, certificate of appreciation and lunch. Your help is needed.
