BACKGROUND: RBJ Schlegel Holdings will be holding their annual community festival at 1187 Fischer Hallman Road on September 8th. They are once again requesting an exemption from Chapter 450 (Noise). REPORT: This community festival has been held for approximately 6 years. Staff do not recall any significant complaints being registered over the past years. ALIGNMENT WITH CITY OF KITCHENER STRATEGIC PLAN: This request supports the Community Priorities of Quality of Life, as contained in the City’s Strategic Plan. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: N/A 4 - 1 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: The organizers will be advertising the event within the adjacent residential community.
