Council considered a recommendation arising from the Community and Infrastructure Services
Committee held earlier this date.
Councillors Y. Fernandes and J. Gazzola expressed concerns with dealing with this matter this date,
suggesting that it would be preferable to consider it at the April 14, 2014 Council meeting.
Mr. M. May, Deputy CAO — Community Services, indicated staff had requested that this item be
considered by Council this date, because the current pilot program for enforcement practices (no
enforcement of the three (3) hour parking limit from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.), expired April 1, 2014.
Mayor C. Zehr advised he would accept a deferral motion on this matter subject to the pilot program
being extended to April 15, 2014.
Moved by Councillor Y. Fernandes
Seconded by Councillor J. Gazzola
"That the pilot program for enforcement practices (no enforcement of the three (3) hour parking

Department report INS -13 -028, be extended to April 15, 2014; and further,
That consideration of the following motion be deferred to the April 14, 2014 Council meeting
