BACKGROUND: Mrs. Landry is planning to hold an event for a family member at her property, 46 Gravel Ridge Trail, on October 5t". The event will include the playing of music outside. As such, they are requesting an exemption from Chapter 450 (Noise) of the City's Municipal Code. REPORT: The event organizer has ensured staff that she will be advising her neighbours of the event in advance of the date. She is also providing on-site contact information in the event that staff have to contact someone to address a concern. ALIGNMENT WITH CITY OF KITCHENER STRATEGIC PLAN: The aforementioned amendments support the Community Priority of Quality of Life, as contained in the City's Strategic Plan. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: N/A 2 - 1 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: The event organizers will be advertising the event throughout the community in advance of the event.
