Carried Unanimously (Absent: Berry Vrabanovic and Sarah Marsh) APPROVAL OF MINUTES aÝ;7 ,ä 5zz .7©r ;-7;7 ,ä tÒ That the Minutes of the Board of Directors meeting held on August 2 Carried Unanimously (Absent: Berry Vrabanovic and Sarah Marsh) TOWN HALL DEBRIEF The Board reviewed the attendance and format, and discussed the and AGMs. Sarah Marsh joined the meeting (9:16 a.m.) NEW DIRECTORS Dawn Phillips-Brown informed the Board that two Directors, Nik Harron and Stac resigned their positions as they were no longer with member firmMs. Phillips-Brown noted that candidates for three open spots would be attending future m ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING/2016 OPERATING BUDGET Christine Michaud left the meeting (9:39 a.m.) Linda Jutzi reviewed proposed 2016 Operating Budget that would be presented to member the upcoming Annual General Meeting and requested Board input. Berry Vrbanovic joined the meeting (9:42 a.m.) The Board requested that the following items be discussed at a f engaging residents in downtown and neighbouring areas, 2) encour to decorate street windows for special events, and 3) construction impacts on the 2016 downtown Oktoberfest events. The Chair confirmed that due to time constraints, the Downtown S tabled until the October 22, 2015 meeting. 2015/2016 BOARD EXECUTIVE Ms. Phillips-Brown updated the Board on upcoming Executive Committee training roles and responsibilities, and reminded the Board that Executiv up for election at the 2015 AGM. INTERNATIONAL DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION SUMMARY Zenia Horton, Vice Chair, provide a summary of the IDA conference in held in S early October. Ms. Horton, Ms. Jutzi and Christine Michaud, Man attended on behalf of the BIA. Ms. Jutzi committed to providinghlights of the OTHER BUSINESS Sarah Marsh congratulated Ms. Horton on her nomination for Oktob Councillor Marsh also informed the Board that she and Councillorasked City of Kitchener staff to investigate and report to City Council on par Kitchener during ION construction.
