BACKGROUND: These units will replace two (2) rubber tired 4 -wheel drive diesel powered articulated utility tractors (units 606 and 211601 in INS — Operations), as approved for replacement in the 2415 Annual Fleet Equipment Review. These units will be used for grass cutting and sidewalk snow removal. The current units are eleven (11) and fourteen (14) years old with an eleven (11) year life cycle. REPORT: This Tender was advertised publicly on the City of Kitchener website and the Internet through the Ontario Public Buyers Electronic Tendering Information System. Documents were downloaded by seventeen (17) interested parties and by the closing date of Thursday July 16, 2015, four (4) tenders had been received. Tenders were reviewed by M. When the cost of the optional items was reviewed, Work Equipment Ltd. remained the lowest bidder.
