BACKGROUND: Concordia Club i or the Canadian Student Leadership Conference event on September 27, 2017, a copy of their request is attached. REPORT: rd The Waterloo Region District School Board has selected the Concordia Club for their 33 Annual C would like to host an event in their tent during the week of the Canadian Student Leadership Conference, in order to have students experience German Heritage and Oktoberfest. They are expecting 1500 students and advisors to attend and as part of the German Heritage evening they will be having a live band playing music from 5pm to 12am (midnight) to entertain the attendees. Staff have made arrangements to have an onsite contact person during the event to help address any concerns that may arise.
