Vrbanovic with all members present. Notice of this meeting had been previously given to all members of Council by the City Clerk pursuant to Chapter 25 (Council Procedure) of the Municipal Code. FCS -17-199 — MEMORANDUM OF SETTLEMENT, CUPE 791 Council considered Finance and Corporate Services report FCS -17-199 (B. Soye), dated November 29, 2017. Moved by Councillor B. loannidis Seconded by Councillor D. Schneider "That the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum of Settlement dated November 20, 2017 to establish the 2017-2019 Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 791 be approved; and, That the wage and fringe benefit adjustments negotiated with CUPE 791 be applied to non- union/management positions consistent with the City's approach to joint job evaluation; and, That the wage settlements for 2017, 2018, and 2019 be applied to 9000 series positions; and further, That the Mayor and the Clerk be authorized to execute documentation arising there from." Galloway-Sealock "That an in -camera meeting of City Council be held this date to consider a litigation or potential litigation matter which is also subject to solicitor -client privilege, and a matter pertaining to labour relations." Etherington "That Council direct staff to implement a new wage structure for the casual and part-time pay group (900 Series) effective January 1, 2018 to maintain minimum wage compliance under the Province of Ontario's Bill 148, Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act." Fernandes WENGINNYMOWFA715 "That leave be given the Mover and Seconder to introduce a by-law to confirm all actions and proceedings of the Council and that the same be taken as read a first, second and third times, be finally passed and numbered 2017-120 by the Clerk."
