BY-LAW NUMBER \
OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF KITCHENER
(Being a by-law to amend Chapter 630 of The City of
Kitchener Municipal Code with respect to fences)
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend Chapter 630 of The City of
Kitchener Municipal Code as adopted by By-law 2006-96;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kitchener
enacts as follows:
1. Section 630.5.1 (c) is hereby deleted in its entirely and the following is substituted
therefor:
it c) within an exterior side yard or rear yard shall have a maximum height of:
i) 1.82 metres (6 feet) if less than 4.57 metres (15 feet) from the exterior side
lot line;
ii) 2.44 metres (8 feet) if at least 4.57 metres (15 feet) from the exterior side
lot line;"
