1. New year satisfaction survey
From: Darren Kropf, city staff
Overview
Happy new year! With the arrival of 2020, the committee is half-way through its current
term, offering an ideal opportunity to reflect on past accomplishments and refocus on
future goals.
Expectations of Committee
The committee will be asked to fill out a brief survey on their experience so far, through
the following questions:
Are you enjoying your volunteer experience on this committee?
Do you feel the committee is doing meaningful work?
What are your highlights from the past year?
What are areas of improvement or disappointments from the past year?
What is one thing you’d like the committee to accomplish in 2020?
Any other comments or suggestions.
2. Lancaster Street follow-up
From: Matt Rodrigues, KCTAC Chair
Overview
At its November 2019 meeting, the KCTAC received information from the Region of

conversation was required.
Expectations of Committee
That the Committee provide direction to the Advocacy Subcommittee with respect to
next steps in ensuring strong pedestrian and cycling facilities along the Lancaster Street
corridor.

6. Winter Bike to Work/School Day
From: Darren Kropf, city staff
Overview
A worldwide campaign, Winter Bike Day aims to demystify the practice of winter cycling
and create awareness that ordinary people can ride their bicycles year round. Riding
can be safe, healthy, and fun—not as extreme as many people think. Learn more at
https://www.winterbiketoworkday.org.
City staff will be hosting a bike ride and refreshments along the separated bike lane
pilot, to hand out satisfaction surveys and raise awareness of winter cycling.
Expectations of Committee
Committee members are asked to volunteer to hand out refreshments during the pop-up
and share ideas for the committee to recognize Winter Bike Day.
