Discussion Items
1. Mayor's Task Force on Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Committee update — Beth Wilson &
LoriAnn Palubeski
COVID has changed the direction of the task force. The main committee has broken off into
smaller sub committees. Those meetings have just started to be scheduled. Developing a new
mentorship program for youth living in low-income households is the subcommittee that Lori and
Beth have been assigned.
2. Shore Report for next committee
Julie shared the report and it will be included with this committee's final report
3 Recommendations for next term's committee
A discussion was had. Staff will summarize the comments/suggestions and present to the
committee for one last review.
4. Committee Volunteer Recognition Ideas/Suggestions
Discussion regarding what the committee might appreciate from a volunteer recognition
perspective. It was left for staff to follow up as appropriate based on the committee discussion.
5. Inclusion and Belonging grant to be sent out via email for feedback and added to the November
agenda for discussion
