I. Mayor's Task Force on Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion
Committee update — Beth Wilson & LoriAnn Palubeski
o Eight different subcommittees
o Council has approved five new paid staff positions for the Equity office
o Job postings and HR will be involved in the hiring process. Staff report to be sent with minutes
o Persons with Disabilities should be included in the job postings
2. LGBTQ2+ Allyship - Wrap Up report — Amy Venner
o Contingency planning for the next group
o Summary of all the work that committee has down over the last two terms
3. Reflections & Recommendations Follow up — Mark Hildebrand
o Deferred until December meeting
4. Inclusion and Belonging Grant — LoriAnn Palubeski
Discussion was had around changes to the Inclusion and Belonging grant criteria. Lori and Julie to meet
regarding the changes that were discussed and bring draft revision back to the group for feedback to the next
meeting
5. The Sex Workers Action Network Inclusion and Belonging grant update — Amy Venner
Amy shared an update on the group that received an Inclusion and Belonging grant. It was a tremendous
success for the group.
