Execution of Enqineerinq Aqreements
It was resolved:
"That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute an agreement for the provision
of professional engineering services made between the City of Kitchener and
Proctor & Redfern Limited, regarding Gateway Business Park, Phase I, 30T-87055."

"That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute an agreement for the provision
of professional engineering services made between the City of Kitchener and
Proctor & Redfern Limited, regarding Gateway Business Park, Phase 2, 30T-
90005."
- and -
"That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute an agreement for the provision
of professional engineering services made between the City of Kitchener and MTE
Consultants Inc., regarding Stanley Park East, Stages V and VI, Subdivision 30T-
88027 and 3~T-88~28."
2. Aqreement to Purchase - Fire Master Proqram
It was resolved:
"That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute an Agreement with Public
Technology, Inc. relating to the transfer of the Fire Master Program to the City of
Kitchener at a cost of $6,000."
Licensinq Aqreement
It was resolved:
"That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute a Licensing Agreement dated
March 22, 1991 to allow the Laurentian Pre School to use a portion of the Kitchener
Lions Community Arena from May 29, 1991 to May 29, 1992 for rent in the sum of
$2,342.00."

It was resolved:
"That the Canadian Foundation for Ileitis and Colitis be granted permission to
sell raffle lottery tickets in the City of Kitchener under Provincial Licence
#882978 for four draws to be held between April 30, 1991 and July 31, 1991 ."
c) Central Ontario Exhibition
It was resolved:
"That the City of Kitchener has no objection to a Provincial licence being
issued to the Central Ontario Exhibition, to conduct a Monte Carlo Event on
June 12 - 16, 1991 at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, 400 East Avenue,
Kitchener."
d) Wellesley Hospital Research Foundation
Dealt with in the Committee Report section of the minutes.
e) Kitchener 44th Scoutinq Group
It was resolved:
"That the Kitchener 44th Scouting Group be granted permission to operate a
Refreshment Stand on the lot of the Esso Service Centre, 638 Belmont
Avenue West, Kitchener, on Saturday, April 27 and May 11, 1991, during
their Car Wash, provided that the necessary licence and Health approval is
obtained."
f) Cyprus Turkish Canadian Friendship Inc.
It was resolved:
"That the Cyprus Turkish Canadian Friendship Inc. be granted permission to
conduct a Raffle Lottery in the City of Kitchener with the draw to be held on
July 1, 1991 at Victoria Park, Kitchener."
6. Claim Settlement
It was resolved:
"Resolved that the Mayor & Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a "Mutual
Release" as between the City and the Bank of Nova Scotia and the Trustee in
Bankruptcy of Camions Pierre Thibault Inc. with respect to two fire trucks as listed
therein."
7. Revised Development Charqes Policy - Public Meetinq Dates
It was generally agreed that the public meeting required under the Development Charges
Act would be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 1991 and the special Council
Meeting to deal with the proposed by-law on Monday, October 7, 1991 immediately
following the conclusion of the Planning Committee meeting.

10. Tenders
It was resolved:
"That tender T91-13, Dump Trucks and Snow Plow Equipment, be awarded as
follows:
Items #1, 2, 3 and 5 to Kirby International Trucks Limited, Kitchener, at their
tendered price of $278,075.
Item #4 to White GMC, Waterloo at their tendered price of $193,870."
