2. NEW DRAFT OF PRIORITIES
Brock Stanley indicated that the Priority Sub-Committee had worked through the priority list
and indicated that the list attached to the Agenda was the compiled list of priorities from the
Mayor's Task Force that never made it onto the original list of priorities. It was mentioned that
the Sub-Committee dealt with and assigned a priority to each separate initiative, keeping in
mind also if the initiative was not viable at this time, already implemented or should be referred
to another committee. Each initiative was sorted into high, medium and Iow priorities.
It was suggested that if we come to any discussion items that we mark them and deal with
those items at the end of the meeting.
During Review of the Priority Chart the following comments were made:
A suggestion was made to complete a study of who lives where and what types of people live
in specific areas within the boundaries of Weber to Joseph and Cedar to Victoria. It was
pointed out that a high number of Seniors live in this area of Town and that this type of
study was already completed by David Corks. It was suggested that we should include
this item under Community Development
It was mentioned that any items listed as not viable at this time would be removed from the list.
It was suggested that a process should be developed to deal with those items that are
referred to other Committee's to ensure that any of these initiatives are not lost.
Promote existing Churches and to advertise their talents.
All of the suggestions were considered and included in the new revised Draft of the Priorities.
(See attached).
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 pm.
