Beginning March 1, 2022, the City of Kitchener has aligned with provincial changes to COVID-19 restrictions and City Hall
is now open for in-personservices, but appointments are still being encouraged. The City remains committed to the safety
of our patrons and staff and continuesto facilitate electronic meeting participation for members of the public.
Those people interested in participating in this meeting can register to participate electronically by contacting the

5.Call for OctoberAgenda Items and Staff Reports (5 mins)

Information Items
Agenda Item #2-Committee Recognition Discussion: a short conversation with the committee regarding how
they’d like to be recognized beyond the honorarium. Committee to suggest items and consider an in-person
appreciation event in November. Poll to be created.
Agenda item #4 –RISE Applications –Group Review: Committee members will have completed individual
application reviews and come prepared to discuss applicants and reach a consensus about the Fall 2022 RISE
Fund recipients. This agenda item will require a mover and seconder to move into a closed session due to the
nature of the discussion.
