Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof From: Ivan J Balaban, City of Kitchener Overview Committee members are to review the agenda and disclose if they have any conflicts of interest with any items listed. If they do, they will be required to sit in the gallery during that particular item and refrain from participating in any discussion or voting on said item. They will also be required to fill out an online form following the meeting at: https://www.kitchener.ca/en/council-and-city-administration/conflict-of-interest.aspx Expectations of Committee Individual members to disclose pecuniary interest if applicable 2. Active Transportation (AT) and Trails Orientation From: Darren Kropf, Liz Christensen, Ivan Balaban, City of Kitchener Overview Presentation providing a summary of Active Transportation and Trails initiatives in the City of Kitchener. The presentation will highlight the organizational structure of the Transportation Services Division and Parks and Cemeteries Division, as well as supporting documents that guide Active Transportation work in the City, including the Cycling and Trails Master Plan, the Strategic Plan, and the Complete Streets Guidelines. The presentation will also touch on common Active Transportation terms and facility types. Expectations of Committee For information. Micromobility Introduction and Update From: Ivan J Balaban, City of Kitchener Overview The City has partnered with the Region of Waterloo, as well as the Cities of Waterloo and Cambridge to introduce a Shared Micromobility Service Provider to the Region. This presentation will provide an overview of the work done so far, and anticipated next steps in the process, working towards a spring 2023 launch of the service. Active Transportation Progress Report From: Darren Kropf, City of Kitchener Overview Last term, the committee and other cycling advocates asked the City to provide an overall report or dashboard of progress made on active transportation. Content for the report was brainstormed last year by committee members and staff, and the report writing is underway. The City is requesting a member of the committee to write a short introduction on behalf of the committee to include in the report. Expectations of Committee One or more members to volunteer to write a short report. 6. Subcommittee Workplan From: Victoria Hand, Matthew Bells, City of Kitchener Overview The Chair and Vice-Chair will lead the committee through an informal brainstorming session to determine which Subcommittees should continue, which should end, and which new subcommittees should be added. Members will have an opportunity to join a subcommittee if interested. Workplans will be created for each subcommittee. Expectations of Committee Participate in the brainstorming session.
