REPORT HIGHLIGHTS: • The purpose of this report is to appoint an additional alternate member of City Council to the Dog Designation Appeal Committee for the purpose of conducting an appeal hearing on March 7, 2023 to ensure the Committee meets quorum. • This report supports the delivery of core services. BACKGROUND: On November 16, 2022, Council appointed citizens and members of Council to various advisory committees, boards and special committees for the current term. At the Striking Committee meeting, members of Council representatives were appointed to the Dog Designation Appeal Committee for the term ending November 14, 2024. The following Council members were appointed Councillor J. Deneault, and Councillor A. Owodunni, with Councillor M. Johnston being appointed as an alternate member.
