The Committee was advised that the applicant requests permission to erect an automatic
changing copy sign located within 6.5 m of an intersection instead of the required 23 m and
located 15 m from a residential zone instead of the required 150 m.
The Committee considered the report of the Development and Technical Services Department,
dated November 9, 2004, recommending approval of this application, provided the sign is
constructed generally in accordance with the plans submitted, and it does not face the
residential zone.
The Committee noted the comments of the Region of Waterloo Transportation Planner, dated
November 9, 2004, in which they advise they have no concerns with this application.
