The meeting will begin with a Land Acknowledgement given by the Chair.
2.Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof
Members of Council and members of the City’s local boards/committees are
required to file a written statement when they have a conflict of interest. If a
conflict is declared, please visit www.kitchener.ca/conflict to submit your written
form.
3.Delegations
Pursuant to Council’s Procedural By-law, delegations are permitted to address
the Committee for a maximum of five (5) minutes. All delegations must register
in order to participate in the meeting. Delegation registration is permitted up to
the start of the meeting.

4.Information Items
4.1 All-Advisory Committees meeting update 5 m
DAC members who attended the All-Advisory Committees meeting on
May 8th may share anything of interest from this meeting, including areas
of alignment between DAC and other Committees.
4.2 Pedestrianization Sub-Committee update 5 m
Update from new sub-committee exploring opportunities to pedestrianize
downtown streets.
5.Discussion Items
5.1 What's New in DTK?5 m
Rapid fire sharing of new businesses, events, community spaces and
happenings in Downtown Kitchener.
5.2 Economic Development Strategic Plans 70 m
Cory Blumn, Economic Development Executive Director, will provide
some background on the strategic plans that inform EcDev's work, DAC's
role and opportunities, and to answer questions from the Committee.
