Members of Council and members of the City's local boards/committees are
required to file a written statement when they have a conflict of interest. If a

Pursuant to Council's Procedural By-law, delegations are permitted to address
the Committee for a maximum of five (5) minutes. All Delegations must register
by TIME on DATE, in order to participate in the meeting electronically.

Development Strategy.

5. Discussion Items
5.1 Make It Ktchener Refresh 60 m
• C.Bluhm will provide an overview of the committee's role and
discuss -
• Opportunities to explore creative responses and
approaches
• On thinking differently from other communities
• The City will provide an overview of the current economic forces
shaping the local economy.
• The Committee will discuss the implication of these economic
forces on Kitchener's economy including -
• Negative and Positive Impacts
• Controllable vs. uncontrollable factors by the City
• Opportunities for influence focusing on areas where the City
can influence change
5.2 Industry Expertise 15 m
The committee to discuss on identifying and engaging industry experts to
present for upcoming meetings.
