Discussion Items 5.1 Make It Ktchener Refresh 60 m • C.Bluhm will provide an overview of the committee's role and discuss - • Opportunities to explore creative responses and approaches • On thinking differently from other communities • The City will provide an overview of the current economic forces shaping the local economy. • The Committee will discuss the implication of these economic forces on Kitchener's economy including - • Negative and Positive Impacts • Controllable vs. uncontrollable factors by the City • Opportunities for influence focusing on areas where the City can influence change 5.2 Industry Expertise 15 m The committee to discuss on identifying and engaging industry experts to present for upcoming meetings. 5.3 Review of the next steps 15 m 6.
