1. Commencement
A hybrid meeting of the Economic Development Advisory Committee was held on
February 25, 2026. The meeting commenced at 11:03 a.m. and was chaired by
Joe Curto.
2. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof
No pecuniary interests disclosed.

4. Discussion Items
4.1 Make It Kitchener Refresh: Updates & Discussion- C. Bluhm
C. Bluhm shared insights from the Roundtable discussions and the Council
Strategy Session. The Committee discussed the areas of focus, both current and
emerging listed in the City of the Future 2026 document, focusing on areas that
could have the most impact and change. A copy of the Areas of Focus document
was sent to the Committee for their input.
4.2 Regional Growth Discussion- J. Curto
The Committee reviewed and discussed recent news articles relevant to the
economic development of the City of Kitchener.
4.3 Sector Roundtables
Discussion deferred to a later meeting date.
