Vrbanovic, Chair, with the following members present: Mayor C. Zehr, Councillor M. Galloway and Mr. B. Krafcheck. Officials Present:Ms. B. Steiner, Ms. J. Billett and Messrs. B. Stanley and D. Daly. Councillor B. Vrbanovic advised that a quorum of members was not present and would not be achievable due to work commitments of several citizen representatives on the Committee. Accordingly, Councillor Vrbanovic advised that a decision had been made to adjourn the meeting and extended apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused for those in attendance. Prior to adjourning, Mayor C. Zehr spoke briefly to the first item on the Committee’s agenda relative to the proposal of General Environmental Group to operate a soil recycling plant at 90 Woodside Avenue. Several additional dates for consideration of this proposal had been spoken of at the Public Open House held earlier this week, being June 11 and 25. In this regard, Mayor Zehr advised that at the next Council meeting to be held on June 11, Council intended only to formalize a request to the Ministry of Environment for a further extension to the comment period and there would be no debate that evening relative to the facts of General Environmental Group’s proposal. He pointed out that, should a further extension be granted, it would provide additional time for all concerned to deal with this issue. Councillor B. Vrbanovic advised all in attendance who wished to be notified of any additional meetings of the Environmental Committee that may be held to discuss this proposal, to leave their contact information with the Committee Administrator. ADJOURNMENT On motion, the meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m. J. Billett, AMCT Committee Administrator
