The City of Kitchener generally provides grants to organizations providing municipal services,
primarily recreational, cultural, environmental and community-related activities. Grants for
educational purposes are generally not considered.
The services provided by Junior Achievement are not a core municipal responsibility and
therefore staff recommend that this request not be approved.
