SOCIAL GAMING EVENT-BETH JACOB CONGREGATION
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City of Kitchener has no objection to a Provincial Lottery Licence being issued to the
Beth Jacob Congregation to conduct a social gaming event at the Beth Jacob Synagogue, 161
Stirling Ave. S., Kitchener, on June 22,2005.
REPORT:
A request was received from the Beth Jacob Congregation for permission to have a social
gaming event on June 22, 2005, at the Beth Jacob Synagogue, 161 Stirling Ave. S., Kitchener.
The proceeds from the Social Gaming Event will be donated to the Grand River Hospital
Foundation, S1. Mary's Hospital Foundation and the Beth Jacob Congregation.
Similar requests by the Beth Jacob Synagogue have been approved by Council in past years.
Council accedes to this request the above-noted recomendation is suggested.
