Gosse, Director of Legislated Services/Deputy City Clerk Patricia Harris, Interim Manager of Licensing August 10, 2005 CRPS-05-124 Request for Sale of Food September 3, 2005 - Twin Cities Tackle Football- Centennial Stadium RECOMMENDATION: That the request of the Twin Cities Minor Tackle Football Association to sell refreshments at their opening game on September 3, 2005 at Centennial Stadium, 400 East Avenue be approved, provided the necessary licence is obtained, including Health and Fire approval. BACKGROUND: City of Kitchener Council policy requires Council's approval prior to a licence being issued to allow sales to take place on City property. REPORT: Attached is a letter from Kathy Mason, Vice President of Twin Cities Minor Tackle Football Association requesting permission to operate a canteen at Centennial Stadium, 400 East Avenue on September 3, 2005 for their season opening game. Bingeman's has the exclusive right to cater any events at the Auditorium complex. They have been contacted and have waived their right to sell refreshments at this event.
