That Report DTS-07-013 be received for information; and 2. That Report DTS-07-013 be submitted to the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in fulfilment of Clause 22.1 of the Administrative Agreement between The City of Kitchener and the Regional Municipality of Waterloo regarding delegated authority: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: In accordance with Regional By-law Number 97-061, the City of Kitchener is required to "provide the Regional Commissioner of Planning and Culture with an annual statistical report on the number and status of plans of subdivision, plans of condominium and part- lot control exemption by-laws and the number and type of units permitted by the approval for the preceding year." In addition, in accordance with Kitchener's Delegation By-law 2002-164, the Director of Planning is required to provide summary reports quarterly to inform Council of all applications approved by the Director of Planning. As in past years, the Planning Division has found it most appropriate given the number of approvals, to provide a summary of the entire year's activity in one report. The intended land uses for the draft approved lots are as follows: • 5 Single Detached • 36 Semi-Detached • 61 Single/Semi/Townhouse • 92 Townhouses In 2006, 6 industrial blocks, three institutional blocks, and a maximum of 2015 residential units in lots/blocks were registered. The intended land use for these lots/blocks is as follows: • 1427 Single Detached • 86 Semi-Detached • 239 Townhouses • 773 Multiple 8 B. 2006 PART LOT CONTROL EXEMPTION BY-LAWS In 2006, the Planning Division received 41 applications for Part Lot Control Exemption. Of these, 40 by-laws were adopted two for PLC06/01 /UU/SR) and two applications were deferred until February, 2006. In addition, eight by-laws were adopted from 8 applications for Part Lot Control Exemptions previously deferred from 2005. A total of 7 easements were created through the part lot control process in 2006. There were 315 lots created intended for 42 Singles, 33 Semi-Detached, 1 Single/Semi-Detached, 105 Singles/Semis/Street-Towns, and 134 Street Towns. Five by-laws were adopted for the purpose of lot line adjustments. C. 2006 CONSENTS A total of 65 consent applications were received in 2006. A total of 56 applications were approved, 7 deferred to 2006.One application was refused and one was withdrawn. 32 approved applications were endorsed with the following results (recognizing that some applications have more than one purpose, and that some have not yet been endorsed): ^ 28 new additional lots ^ 18 lot line adjustment/lot additions ^ 0 for the purpose of creating easements/rights-of-way ^ 1 lease agreement ~>21 years) D. 2006 PLANS OF CONDOMINIUM (a) Condominium Applications Received: The following eight applications for plans of condominium were received in 2006.
