Subject: REQUEST TO OPERATE A BBQ AT FOREST HEIGHTS
COMMUNITY CENTRE-JUNE 16, 2007
RECOMMENDATION:
That the request of the Forest Heights Community Centre to operate a barbecue at 1700
Queen's Blvd. on June 16, 2007 be approved, provided the necessary licence, including Health
and Fire approvals, is obtained.
BACKGROUND:
Council Policy requires Council's approval prior to a licence being issued to allow sales of
refreshments to take place on City property.
REPORT:
Attached is a letter from Brenda van De Keere, Administrative Coordinator, Forest Heights
Community Centre, requesting permission on behalf of the Centre and its partners to operate a
BBQ at the 6t" Annual Community BBQ/Fun Day on June 16, 2007.
