SIDEWALK AT 1250 STRASBURG RD.

"That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute an Encroachment Agreement, satisfactory
to the City Solicitor, with the property owner of the property municipally known as 1250
Strasburg Rd. (PIN 22607-0067), to legalize the existing City owned sidewalk which extends
16.955m, more or less, along the Strasburg Rd. frontage to a depth of approximately 0.800m,
more or less, onto 1250 Strasburg Rd. being Part 5 on Reference Plan 58R- 15833."

The owner of 1250 Strasburg Rd. has recently entered into a section 41. development
agreement with the City. As part of this process, it came to light that a portion of the City
sidewalk is located on this property. The sidewalk extends approximately 16.955 m along the
Strasburg Rd. frontage to a depth of approximately 0.800m.
It is necessary to enter into an encroachment agreement with the owner of 1250 Strasburg Rd.
in order for the City to legalize its existing sidewalk.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

The appropriate staff has reviewed this request and has
encroachment agreement with the property owner of 1250
legalizing the portion of the City sidewalk on private property.
