Gosse, Director of Legislated Services/City Clerk Patricia Harris, Manager of Licensing Date of Report: June 18, 2007 Report No.: Subject: CRPS-07-091 REQUEST FROM PAKISTAN CANADA ASSOCIATION TO SELL FOOD AND MERCHANDISE AT CITY HALL- AUGUST 5, 2007 RECOMMENDATION: That the request of the Pakistan Canada Association Waterloo Wellington Counties to sell food and merchandise at Pakistan-Canada Day on August 5, 2007 at Kitchener City Hall and the Forsyth parking lot be approved, provided the necessary licence, including Health approval, is obtained. BACKGROUND: Council policy requires Council's approval prior to a licence being issued to allow sales of refreshments and merchandise to take place on City property. REPORT: Attached is a letter from Fauzia Mazhar, President, Pakistan Canada Association Waterloo Wellington Counties requesting permission to sell refreshments and merchandise at Pakistan- Canada Day.
