The location of the easement is set out on the attached sketch. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: Bell Canada will pay a one-time compensation payment of $7,500.00 to the City along with all legal and survey costs directly related to the easement acquisition. COMMUNICATIONS: N/A CONCLUSION: Staff recommends that the said easement over Part Block 30, Plan 58M-132, being Part 1 on Reference Plan 58R-15780 be declared surplus to the City's needs and be conveyed to Bell Canada to accommodate additional services in the area. An appraisal is not required where an easement is being conveyed to a public utility or telephone company. Fiona M. McCrea Assistant City Solicitor FMM/bg-c Encl. c.c. - P. Wetherup - L. Proulx - T.
