E07-070 — Consultant Services — Consolidated Maintenance Facility Review — Part 2 — Schedule C — Class EA That Expression of Interest E07-070, Consultant Services — Consolidated Maintenance Facility Review — Part 2 — Schedule C — Class EA, be awarded to IBI Group, Waterloo at their estimated fee of $100,700., including disbursements of $3,498. and G.S.T., based on a satisfactory contract being negotiated. The assignment will complete the Schedule C —Class Environmental Assessment Study resulting in a recommended Consolidated Maintenance Facility model and site(s). I :0 In accordance with Chapter 170 of the Municipal Code pertaining to the Selection of Professional Services/Consultants, a Consultant's Review Committee was established consisting of C. Ladd, Chief Administrative Officer, A. Pappert, General Manager Community Services, P. Houston, General Manager Financial Services and City Treasurer, K. Currier, Director of Operations, L. Proulx, Director of Facilities Management, H. Gross, Director of Project Administration and Economic Investment, and L. Gordon, Director of Purchasing. Expressions of interest were sent to four consulting firms relative to this project. By the closing date of Wednesday July 25th, 2007, one (1) response had been received. The Review Committee has elected to award this project to IBI Group, Waterloo. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS Funding will be provided from indices 528000 — New Maintenance Facility and 526073 — Consolidated Maintenance Facility. Reserve Balance forward, December 31, 2002 $1,603,298. Reserve Interest $ 109,225. Contribution from Gas $ 936,000. Contribution from Water $ 936,000. Contribution from Sewer $ 936,000. Contribution from Development Charges $ 675,000.
