No. CW2007-050, Envelopes, be awarded to Supremex Inc., Etobicoke, Ontario for a one (1) year term at the estimated annual cost of $51,000., plus P.S.T. and G.S.T., with an option to renew for a further three (3) one-year terms. BACKGROUND This is a co-operative tender issued by the County of Wellington on behalf of the Guelph Co- operative Purchasing Group (GCPG). Participants included County of Wellington, City of Guelph, Guelph Hydro, University of Guelph, Upper Grand District School Board, Wellington Catholic District School Board and St. Joseph's Hospital from the Guelph Co-op Purchasing Group; City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Regional Municipality of Waterloo, City of Cambridge, Conestoga College, Waterloo Region District School Board, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo and Community Care Access of Waterloo Region from the Co-operative Purchasing Group of Waterloo Region (CPGWR}; and the City of Brantford. REPORT Tenders were requested from five (5) potential bidders and posted on the County of Wellington website. By the closing date of October 31, 2007, one (1 }bid had been received. The overall value of this Co-operative Contract is $350,000. Where applicable, envelopes purchased from this Contract will be FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified. The tender was reviewed by M. Bolzon, Manager, Purchasing & Risk Management Services, County of Wellington, on behalf ofboth Co-operatives. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS Funding will be provided from various City indices as envelopes are an inventory item and charged to various index codes as used. The price has increased 4.5°10 for 2008 based on the previous year's usage report. Annual price increases will be capped to a maximum of 6°1o per year based on paper price increases and raw material, unless Supremex Inc. experiences price increases greater than 15°10 per year.
