It is necessary to locate one of the multiple unit identification signs on City Property, described as Block 33 on Registered Plan 58M-392. �014 Site plan approval for the townhouse development proposed at 7 Upper Mercer St. requires multiple unit identification signs for the site. One of the multiple unit identification signs is required to be located on City Property, described as Block 33 on Registered Plan 58M-392, as with the narrow driveway width providing access to 7 Upper Mercer, the location is the only alternative which met emergency service requirements to ensure prompt emergency services. The owner of 7 Upper Mercer St. is responsible for construction and maintenance of the multiple unit identification sign. -2- The multiple unit identification sign will be located approximately 4.5m back from the front lot line, as indicated on the attached drawing, and will be located outside of the traffic visibility triangle as required by the City. The appropriate staff has reviewed this request and has no concerns with the location of the proposed installation of the multiple unit identification sign. On June 11, 2007, Council authorized an encroachment agreement for a proposed sidewalk for 7 Upper Mercer St. to be located on the same parcel of City property, being Block 33 on Registered Plan 58M-392, as set out in Report CRPS-07-075.
