The intent of this proposal is to renew the existing authorized contractor listing for the next two ~2} years and secondly, to facilitate the acceptance of additional applicants at any time during the term in order to maintain a balanced complement of primary and secondary contractors to the program. REPORT Tenders were advertised publicly in The Record, on the City of Kitchener website and the Internet through the Ontario Public Buyers Electronic Tendering Information System. Twenty (20) potential bidders picked up proposal documents, and by the closing date of Friday January 30, 2009, sixteen (16) proposals had been received. The top five (5) scoring contractors are awarded primary status while the remaining contractors receive secondary status. Primary status includes business leads provided by Kitchener Utilities. The proposals were evaluated by S.
