The show was scheduled to come back into this area in 2011. In the summer of 2005, ADRS
requested proposals from interested associations to host this event, WRMPWA, which is a
group of Municipal and Regional staff along with various local supplier members, submitted a
proposal in September of 200.8 to.host the event.
The event as proposed in the bid will be held at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, The golf
tournament, which is part of the show, will be held at Doon Valley Golf Course. Staff from the
Aud and local tourist associations will be assisting committee organizers in setting up
accommodations and other events for bath attendees and guests of the attendees. Dther
events may include tours of local attractions or fishing excursions on the Grand .River. Final
details will be arranged by the event committee organizers.
After a review of all options, inside booths will be set up in both the Kinsmen and Kiwanis

AORS has found that the local municipal associations that have hosted the trade show become
stronger as a result of working cooperatively to put the event together.
