SUBJECT: T09-012 -David Street, Dill Street and Schneider Avenue
Reconstruction
RECOMMENDATION:
That the resolution of Council passed on April 6, 2009 regarding tender T09-012 (report No. FIN
09-017} be amended by deleting "Ltd." and replacing with "Limited" after the company name, J.
Weber Contracting.
BACKGROUND:
On April 6, 2009, Council adopted the recommendation regarding T09-012 for Reconstruction of
David Street, Dill Street and Schneider Avenue awarding the contract to J. Weber Contracting
"Ltd.".
REPORT:
Legal Services have advised that there is a legal difference between using "Ltd." and "Limited".
The company in question is in fact J. Weber Contracting "Limited", therefore the resolution of
April 6, 2009 requires amendment.
