Waterloo, ON J.M.R. Electric Ltd. Exeter, ON L.J. Barton Mechanical Inc. Ancaster, ON Nelco Mechanical Limited Kitchener, ON The Roberts Group Inc. Kitchener, ON Trade-Mark Industrial Inc. Kitchener, ON BACKGROUND: Further to Council's approval of January 6th, 2009, a prequalification process was initiated to select up to six (6) mechanical contractors to be used for the CMF project. REPORT: In accordance with Chapter 170 of the Municipal Code pertaining to the Prequalification of Contractors, Expressions of Interest were advertised in The Record, on the City of Kitchener web site and the Internet through the Ontario Public Buyers Association Electronic Tendering Information System relative to this project. Documents were picked up by sixteen (16) interested parties. By the closing date of Friday March 13th, 2009, ten (10) submissions had been received. The submissions were forwarded to Morrison Hershfield Limited, Toronto, Ontario, the City's Consultant for the project, for review and prequalification ratings.
